Storytime #1

                 I watched the movie production of "Big Fish" by Ewan McGregor. I learned that if you love something a lot then you shouldn't stop fighting for it (daffodils). I also learned that no matter what happened in the past you should always help out a friend/family member. This was shown when Will got a phone call from his mum telling him the news about his father being sick. Even though he hasn't talked to his father in years he still stopped what he was doing to go see him and spend time with him.


                 My favourite scenes would have to be when Edward was dying in the hospital and Will told him the story of how he dies. This is my favourite because it really shows how Will stops trying to change the way his father is and just excepts it and really starts loving his dad for who he is. It also shows how Will is starting to act like his father. Another scene I like is when Edward works for Mr. Calloway for 3 years just to know simple information about Sandra.


                 The moral of the story is to dream big and never stop going for it cause you will get there it just takes time. Its also don't try to change someone to be someone else, let them be who they truly are. In my own words the title of  "Big Fish" tells me when people overexaggerate their experiences they make themselves seem something bigger then that really are. Which is what happened with Edward. 

                 It really helped to know the background of the story to help me build my character because you need to know what time and emotion the story is to make a good character.
